OutOftheBlackBox Theatre Company presents

BUSTED

@ 5th Anniversary Capital Fringe Festival

"What happens when you mix inspiration, desperation and a deadline?"

About BUSTED

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. When you're a laid-off theatre geek, you write plays. In spite of divorce, kids, job hunting, Internet social media and other modern age distractions, Joan struggles for her artistic self-expression. When procrastination threatens her creativity, sanity and script, Joan's life takes a sudden, comic twist.

BUSTED is an original one-act snapshot of life in our modern world, with a cast of four women, two men and one laptop. This comedy was inspired in part by the real life experiences of its playwright, Betsy Marks Delaney, O2B2's founder and Artistic Director.

Our cast of six includes Rachel Duda as Joan and Jessie Dulaney as Sprite, Joshua Dixon, Sharisse Jackson, Jocelyn Jill Meyer and Kofi Owusu, playing an ensemble of characters from Joan's imagination, work connections and more.

Reserve your PRESS comp tickets (up to two per reviewer) for July 8 at 6pm and July 10 at 6pm (or for another performance as needed) by sending email to info@o2b2.org or calling 301-922-1865. A limited number of comp tickets are available for these performances.
